The new subway line (circle line) has some amazing stations.

It is all quite different from the photos I've been posting from Sporvejsmuseet Skjoldenæsholm.

Look at this!

Snow sculpture of a Danish coffee mug at the 2004 Sapporo Snow Festival. This event started in 1950 and has evolved into major tourist attraction. However, this year's (2022) event was cancelled yet again due the Corona pandemic.

Camera: Canon PowerShot G3.

Edited with GIMP.

The Tetrahedron by the Danish architectual firm BIG, shot from the Hudson River on a tour boat.

The world famous SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. The world's first "designer" hotel. Everything - from the cutlery to the building itself - was designed by Arne Jacobsen.

In the 80's they renovated the rooms and removed the original interiors. Fortunately they have reversed this tendency and are renovating the rooms back to their original form as Jacobsen intended.

My youngest son wanted me to take a photo of this lamp at a friend's house. He's using the photo as a background on his PC screen now. :-)

Had it lying about on my harddisk, saw another similiar photo on flickr, and thought doing a proper crop and posting it might be a good idea.

No processing here, only cropped.

Explore history is gone, but it reached 82 before I accepted an invite and posted it to some group which has kept it out of Explore since. Only photo I've had this happening with, I think. But I tend to avoid groups with obligatory commenting on the next X photos and groups designed solely to boost your favs.

Explore history - lo and behold - after more than a year it appeared again, at no. 39! :-)

No awards or iconed group inviations, please. If you're interested in purchasing my image, please check my profile page for info.

Detail, close up of the hinge of my classic eyewear from Gail Spence, on original. More than 30 years old, still going strong on Ebay. Maybe I should sell it. Saturation on the strong side, but still colorful compared to many other glasses I used.
