This geezer was hanging on the harbour watching the construction work on the other side. What a wicked ride.

"Doors can have a lot of character, be it in the hinges, knob, or style. Make a photo of a door you pass through today", post it then Tag it with #TP33
(sooc) except a ½ degree rotation.
Here are two of the doors with accompanying handles, which I pass every day. Both are from around 1960. The doors are in genuine veneers and the handles are made of Bakelite, the world's first industrially manufactured plastic. I am pleased that they have not been replaced with modern materials. Today they are considered "Vintage" and are highly valued :-)

One of the most striking buildings in the new Ørestad area of Copenhagen is the Tietgens Kollegiet - low cost flats for students.

Danish Design Lamp - A quick shot of a lamp haning on the ceiling in my hotel room in Charlottenlund (near Copenhagen) in Denmark. Just like yesterday I had to look around a little bit to find something worth taking a picture of. I can't wait to go home on Friday to be able to take some more intresting shots!
When I was a child we had at our cabbin a rattan chair which was covered with a warm reindeer hide. Now I have that in my home too. Winter is coming.. ;)
From the Sika-design website: "The collection of wicker furniture is currently expanded since we launched the Originals for the first time. The design is inspired by our own models from the 50’ies and the 60’ies. As wicker furniture previously were sold for winter gardens, sunrooms and summer houses, they are now to be seen overall in the home."

I wanted to get back to the set I started earlier, Form @ Home, where I try to capture the mood and feeling of some things we’ve got at home. This time I tried to use a cooler, blueish toned color instead of the sepia. Again, I'm trying to find form and details, capturing the mood and feeling of the object. For this I used the 5D with the 100mm L IS macro lens. All shot handheld with available light.

In Ørestad—Copenhagen’s tiny but buzzing new hub of urban development—a mountain rises from the flatlands. No ordinary geological behemoth, this sloping peak is a feat of residential engineering from celebrated Danish architects Bjarke Ingels Group. The Mountain Dwellings stand as a beacon for architectural possibility and stylish multifamily living in a dense, design-savvy city

This bike is in one of the bike sheds at our flat. I've taken a photo of it before, but today I pulled it out into the sunshine for a better shot.
A classic Pedersen.
Found this in a local discount store - really nice contemporary design. Designed in Denmark by Holcher Design for Room Copenhagen A/S
Something with a little more depth today. Concerned my work is looking a little flat and 2D.
I can see I should have moved the chair to the right slightly to avoid the line of wardrobes just sneaking into the curve of the chair's waist. Often i have my blinds only semi opened as it looks more appealing from outside. You can see the effect on the light giving the graduation. Not much sun around today, but this chair and it's sister which is yellow always give a shout of colour in my house. I have some rather dowdy plain wood versions too (wished i'd have bought coloured versions now)
