I really like the radial gradient of the sky, but I'm not sure as to how it came to be, for there were clear skies all day.

Former route of the Brampton Railway between Brampton Junction and Brampton Town. This early industrial line was opened in 1775 and carried a passenger service on this section following the opening of the Newcastle & Carlisle Railway in 1836. It was also the home of Stephenson's Rocket after it's disposal by the Stockton & Darlington Railway and before preservation by the Science Museum.

It is amazing the things you discover when you are not really looking. I wanted a shot of just the All Star patch but discovered a dandelion in the way...the sunlight was shining on it just right and I sighed. If I had set this up, it would not have been as cool.
I've always loved this sign near Inage station. That man, his feathered hair, the cigarette dangling menacingly from his pouting lips. His square jawline. Inspiring.
O that I could aspire to a dandy as he truly is.

I think it's at least partially wool, but I haven't done any sort of burn test to check that out. I didn't know the yardage, so I picked a pattern where I could start at the tip of a triangle and bind off when I was almost out.
There are awesome flecks of all sorts of blues, pinks, and purples in the yarn.
