While it was taking a rest at the old 76 truck stop in Milwaukee, Wisconsin I just had to get a portrait of this sweet Kenworth leased to Distributors Transport in June 1972. The oldies cox comes through again.
Ok, it would probably more accurate to title this Rabbit with a Dandelion.
I had the opportunity to watch this bunny eat well over a dozen dandelions, blooms and all, over about a five minute period.

I wish I could remember who owned this Kenworth beauty that was leased to Distributors Service. I rode in this one a few times too. Milwaukee, Wis July 1972.
I love dandelions (Taraxacom officianale). This much misunderstood and vilified plant has many uses and does not harm anything, except some people's sense of what makes a beautiful yard. Personally I'd rather see these so-called "weeds" in all lawns and on everyone's dinner plate.
Went down to the local beach this morning, but the light was flat and the tide high and not much happening. Just as I was leaving two pairs of Harlequin ducks showed up and got close and the sky lightened a tad. Just like that the day was made!

Mario and I spent the day at Sensea Spa today with some friends/relatives. Mario got a great photo that represents our day (especially hard since you can only take photos if you don't get anyone else in the shot), so I came home and laid in the lawn and grabbed this dandelion fluff. Like shooting fish in a barrel in our yard.
