Rear cover of The Dandy Annual, 1985; even well into the 1980s, it still looked straight out of the 1950s. The artist was probably Ken Harrison, Desperate Dan's regular illustrator from 1983 until 2007.

Street candid taken in Glasgow, Scotland.

Ruan Rentals had four or five of these nice Diamond Ts leased to Pfister and Vogal tanning here in Milwaukee. This was at Ruan's shop in March of 1964.

The yard was full of them. It was a nice Sunday afternoon. Just time for a quick shot. Couldn't resist.

This fantastic Pete leased to Dawes Transport was in for service at the dealership at Waukesha west Milwaukee, Wisconsin when I snapped it in September 1986.

OMGOSH! I loved this dandy when I saw him sitting there on that table full of junk, and I HAD to have him. Isn't he adorable? I bet he was a fan of Oscar Wilde. Look, his hat is in his hand. He's so fluffy, what a great guy.

Card is marked: "Rusk - Newport News, Virginia"

Also this photograph has a curious "ghost" on the back, an outline of a now-gone photo that was up against it, of a man standing in a bowler hat with a cane. But I couldn't get it to scan well.

Enjoying a cigar in my black flannel dressing gown.

Text below reads: The "Fishes of the Twelve Apostles."

Representing a native "fiesta" of the Tagalogs, with characteristic group of country people, on the island of Luzon.

Another experiment using the 85mm F3.5, during our Arboretum trip. Free hand 1:1 shooting isn't very ideal, nor accurate, but sometimes you can get lucky. Dandelion's tend to be a very common yet delightful subject, and with good reason. Everyone seems to have one somewhere in their collection, sometime buried deep. This is my take. Hope you enjoy!
