The challenge of PCA276 Dancing (Feet) is to photograph emotions that are being expressed by the body. Since the face is so very expressive, try not to include faces in your photograph. Concentrate on the lower half of the body. If you include the whole body, find a way to hide the face or diminish its importance. Let the body do the expressing.
WIT: I asked "M" to pose her feet for me. She has not taken dancing lessons recently, but she has great feet for it! In this shot, she's landing from a leap. In PP, I did a crop, changed some levels and added some filters and gradients. I liked the motion of her leg while her feet were quite static.

dance fly (family Empididae), any member of a family of insects in the fly order, Diptera, that are named for their erratic movements while in flight. Dance flies are small with a disproportionately large thorax and a long tapering abdomen. In males, the abdomen usually bears conspicuous genitalia at the posterior end.
Courtship involves the male presenting a dead fly to the female. Mating does not take place until the female accepts the fly and feeds on it. The adults usually inhabit moist regions and feed on smaller insects. The larvae occur in soil, water, or decaying plant material and also feed on insects.
