Dance me to your beauty

With a burning violin

Dance me through the panic

'Till I'm gathered safely in

Lift me like an olive branch

And be my homeward dove

And dance me to the end of love

This was taken several years ago at a resort in Cozumel, MX.

This was taken with a Nikon F801s and SB25 strobe lights on Fuji Velvia Slide,

The SB25 was set to strobe mode at 30Hz and exposure was probably 1/15 or so, its been a while and sadly i lost documentation. minor color adjustments made in PS, pretty much what you see was created in the camera

Slide was scanned with a minolta Dimage Dual negative/slide scanner.

"The Big Dance" a sculpture by Ray Lonsdale, made from weathering steel, at Gretna Green, Scotland, UK.

Gretna Green was among the places in Scotland where couples from England would flee, after the 1754 Marriage Act, to marry according to the Scottish traditional law of "marriage by declaration" or "handfasting". The blacksmiths shop at Gretna Green became famous for performing these ceremonies, where happy couples would declare their love in front of two witnesses and legally become husband and wife.
