Waterfront Retreat - "Dancing Point" - Charles City, Virginia
"Dancing Point" is a spectacular 146 acre riverfront estate located on a dramatic point of land where the Chickahominy and James Rivers meet. The Twin Cities...St. Paul and Minneapolis...traditionally have made sure that there are many cultural experiences through out the area to enjoy...summer and winter. The many parks are teeming with activities. FREE. All one has to do is show up!
The Christopher Watson Dance Company presents the 10th Annual Dances at the Lakes Festival - two FREE concerts in the Rose Garden at Lake Harriet at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, June 10 and 11. This unique festival brings together professional dancers and youth companies performing a wide variety of concert dance styles. This year the festival features nearly 100 dancers performing in the 14 dance groups performing in the two shows. Audience members are invited to bring a lawn chair or blanket and some snacks or a picnic dinner and enjoy the unique opportunity of seeing dance performed in the beautiful setting of the Rose Garden.

I took Josh and Anthony out in the early morning rising sun in Williams, AZ for a little photo shoot - they gave me some funky dancing while I was playing around with high-speed synch on my flash. I got a nice backlit halo effect from the sun behind them.

This lovely woman is a representative of the state of Hidalgo. She was a guest of great honor at the gathering in Santa Catarina, and I am sorry not to know her name. She was instrumental in providing the materials for the women of the community to make their embroidered textiles. When she arrived a bit late, the women presented her with the flowered staff and performed a special dance just for (and with) her.

Dance by Deeptha Jayakar : An excellent dance performance by Deeptha in Krishna Gana Sabha, Tnagar Chennai on 26 12 2014.
The performance ofher depicted the love and affection of Gopikas and Esp Radha towards krishna and also depicted the story of Madhava aka Lord Krishna. The performance for about an hour and every movement she performed was excellent and brought the scene into our eyes. These pictures gives you the glimpse of her performance.
