SHADOW DANCER

A tale, a legend or simply just dreams

A dancing figure of elegance she seems

Moving within the shadows of the day

Dancing in the meadows under the night sky

Heard to be spotted by only one man

Twice he did catch a glimpse for a while

Of beautiful eyes and her radiant smile

So hard to forget the woman he can’t get

Since this time

She keeps moving in the shadows of his mind

A silhouette in his dreams

A mirage of his consciousness

While he wonders

If she ever dances back for him

Or if it really was; just a dream
