if you dance around my world, I'll meet you at the kitchen with your first cup of warm coffee...

I'm exploring an interesting place over here...
if you want to come and visit, really amazing works are shown here...
Art piece outside the theater where our niece had an amazing senior performance yesterday. I like the quirkiness of this piece.
This is Dancing Goddess Tea, an herbal blend of wild grape, nettles, red clover and peppermint. It's photographed inside a small sake cup.
100mm, mirror lock-up, polarizer, off-camera flash, tripod (of course).
So much fun looking at all the different interpretations of this theme this morning (with my standard morning COFFEE!)
HMM everyone!
A Bullers Mollymawk about to land off the Fiordland coast. You may not notice at first but its left leg is stretched out behind it - reminded me of a ballet dancer...
Traditional Aztec war dance performance in the front of the National Museum of Anthropology Chapultepec Mexico City
After the photo of the mass grave of dance flies I posted the day before yesterday, today a photo from the day before that. Maybe this one is still alive. Or not...
dance with me
take my hand and
twirl, swirl, whirl with me
leap high and light with me
slide and glide and sway with me
lead me and i will follow
follow me and i will lead
no need to know the steps to take
just dance with me
the rhythm is in our hearts
there where dreams come alive
so dance with me
HAVE A GREAT WEEK, YOU ALL!
Two Cedar Waxwings dancing in air and in front of the waterfall. I was doing some experimenting with slow exposure on the birds in front of the waterfall when these two made their way in front of my lens. Thanks for the title Sandy, I liked yours better.
Far from being immobile or stuck, if you take the time to observe them well you will see that in reality these birches dance, slowly, to the rhythm of the seasons, then the years, which pass.
Loins d'être immobiles ou figés, si vous prenez le temps de bien les observer vous verrez qu'en réalité ces bouleaux dansent, lentement, au rythme des saisons, puis des années, qui passent.
Slow shutter captures the spirit of this dancer as an impression. Thank you for your appreciation, Gail
International Garden Photographer of the Year results are in. Pleased that my "Dancing Flowers" portfolio got highly commended. It is still one of my favourite ongoing projects and probably the most popular in-camera technique I am teaching at my Creative Flower Photography workshops. Have a look at the official page to see winners in many categories, lots of inspirational entries this year!
