A couple of hours work after cutting the bonnet off and adding a few bits,,, bulkhead,boxes, steering arm, exhaust, top and bottom radiator hoses, drum brakes, and it's almost ready to take a bow at Trainwest
Philadelphia USA 14th August 2010. Tour bus - how it got there I do not know. I tried to explain to the driver that it was from my hometown of Coventry, built at the Daimler Works in Radford (bought by Jaguar in 1960) where I started work from school but it went over his head I think ....

GEA 159 leaning on a telegraph pole after the driver pulled onto a soft verge to let traffic behind overtake. It was soon on its way again, Easter 1972.
Walking along Herbrand Street in central London this former Daimler showroom and garage comes as a bit of a surprise! The horizontal fenestration with vertical brick decoration announce the streamline development of the art deco style, and there are some curves and some corner windows, hints of streamline - and the flat roofs!
