Former Northampton Transport Daimler CVG6 poses in the sun in Somerset. This bus is now part of the Quantock Motor Services heritage fleet.
With my long time love of Daimlers, this 20 from the era when the sleeve-valve engine was coupled with the advanced preselector transmission, is very interesting. The car itself, though refined and beloved of the real rich, still seems from an earlier age.

The sun broke as the car arrived to collect the Groom's Party, the freshly polished Daimler shining beautifully.
Daimler SP250 1961. Voted one of the 'ugliest cars of all time', but I'm not going to say that in front of @Simon Pickford. However, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I think this one looks delicious in that green. Equally tasty is the 2,547cc Edward Tucker V8 engine.
