Abastumani (Georgian: აბასთუმანი) is a small town (daba) and climatic spa in Adigeni Municipality, Samtskhe-Javakheti, Georgia. It is located on the southern slopes of the Meskheti Range (Lesser Caucasus), in the small river valley of Otskhe, 25 km northeast of Adigeni and 28 km west of Akhaltsikhe. The Georgian National Astrophysical Observatory is located at Abastumani.
In medieval Georgia, the area of modern-day Abastumani was part of the district of Odzrkhe so named after a fortress whose ruins survive near the townlet. Ajustes de edición en Lightroom 5: en esta versión apliqué el perfil 'Camera Neutral' del LR5 (por defecto tengo fijado 'Adobe Standard' aunque últimamente casi no lo uso). Creo que este perfil conserva la mayor diversidad de matices tonales, aunque con un nivel muy bajo de contraste que, comparado al 'Adobe Standard', rinde una imagen desvaída. Para compensar, suelo aumentar algo Contraste (+24) y paralelamente Exposición (+35) e Intensidad (+2), y de esta forma se mantienen muchos matices que ae pierden con otros perfiles. Aparte de esos ajustes, la edición incluye un ligero enfoque de la parte anterior de la roca y una reducción de Altas luces (-52). Las próximas en Flickr: una versión más luminosa usando este mismo perfil (potenciando el detalle y la riqueza de tonos en la roca) y otra usando uno de los perfiles que proporciona un mayor contraste.

Edition in LR5: here I used the 'Camera Neutral' profile of LR5. I think this is the best option to keep alive most of the tonal range you have in the RAW file. The bad news is that this profile renders a low contrast, so that the result image is rather faded in comparison with that provided by 'Adobe Standard' or 'Camera Standard' profiles. To compensate for this fading, I increased Contrast (+24), Exposure (+35), and Intensity (+2). In addition to these changes, in this image I've increased a bit the focus in the front of the rock and lowered High lights (-52). Next Flickr uploads: a enhanced, more luminous version using this 'Neutral' profile (but having more detail and higher chromatic richness in the rock surfaces), and another after the application of one of the 'strong' profiles providing a higher contrast

Os ninfeos remiten ao xa moi vello culto das ninfas e outros seres acuáticos que se daba na cultura greco-latina e, en xeral, na maior parte das vellas culturas europeas. No inicio o culto dábase en entornos naturais onde deitaba auga un nacente, nun tramo concreto dun río ou un lago, etc. Os lugares de máis sona adoitaban ser recollidos, nun ambiente natural vizoso e fresco e preferiblemente coa presenza dunha cova. Aquí había tempo para o lecer, os ritos e os banquetes. Destas primeiras covas sacralizadas parten as coviñas artificiais que se fixeron primeiro para un culto público e máis tarde para o privado. As primeiras facíanse asociadas aos grandes acueductos públicos romanos e adoitaban estar trazadas en torno a unha exedra que remite á cova. No caso das construcións particulares adoitan ser de menor tamaño, dentro dunhas estancias lindantes co patio das grandes casas da elite social e económica. Estes ninfeos privados consisten nunha fonte alimentada polo común polos acueductos públicos, en torno á que se eleva un edículo e se deseñan decoracións relacionadas coa auga e o ambiente natural usualmente en mosaico e incrustacións de cunchas e coral. Deste tipo son exemplos os ninfeos da Casa de Neptuno e Anfitrite en Ercolano e da Casa da Fonte Pequena en Pompeia. Posteriormente algúns tipos de construción arredor dos ninfeos serían aproveitados para acometer os baptisterios cristianos, herdando algúns aspectos dese culto acuático. Tamén serán retomados aqueles ninfeos en ambiente natural no Renacemento para iniciar un novo xeito de trazar os xardíns das mansións da nobreza en toda Europa, situando cavernas feitas en rocalla no que se chamaban teatros de auga, de moita difusión desde entón, incrementándose no Barroco. Un pequeno exemplo relativamente recente é o que se trazou nos xardíns do pazo de Vista Real en Vilanova de Arousa.

En el actual Parque de la estación de Gandía (Valencia) todavía podemos contemplar la antigua cabecera del ferrocarril a Alcoy, en la actualidad se encuentra conservada para usos municipales.
