There are quite a few shots I've posted that he has taken of me...for me, with my camera. I typically set up the exposure and focus using Derek (D-Murder to you) as my stand in, then I have him take the same shot of me. So most of the crazy things I've done.....he did them first. I feel he deserves some mad respect for that. Just a fun way to keep us out of (in) trouble.

La forêt d'Akfadou, à cheval entre les wilayas de Tizi-Ouzou et Béjaïa, est l'un des plus importants massifs forestiers d'Afrique du Nord.

Ce poumon, s'étendant sur 16.000 hectares, constitue à lui seul 25% des forêts de feuillus d'Algérie !

La flore de ce massif culminant à plus de 1600 mètres d'altitude est principalement constituée de chênes de différentes espèces (zeen, vert, liège).

Au sein de cette forêt, à 1200 mètres d'altitude, se cache un lac naturel appelé le « Lac noir » d'une étendue de 3 hectares pour 1 mètre de profondeur.

À noter que depuis quelques années, les autorités ont entamé le processus de réintroduction du cerf de Berbérie, espèce endémique de l'Afrique du Nord, dans le massif de l'Akfadou.
