It's surprisingly hard to do cyberpunk architecture. All reference pics I find are usually artwork that, while very well done, is darkly lit with rainy most of the time, with any color coming from neon lights and usually looking upwards to the massive skyscrapers, not towards the streets below. Still threw this together for a batch that won't be done for a while. Gave it a solo shot since it's only used for one pic and you only see about half to 2/3s of it, but it turned out pretty good.
I mean I guess. Seen so many interpretations of "Cyberpunk" soldiers I could've just put my sig-fig in a kevlar vest and with that gun and it would've passed.
DEMAIN TOUS CYBERPUNKS ?
Not the greatest render, the glare erased some detail... I'm rather dismayed with the lack of interesting/diverse heads-torsos-legs for the cyberpunk genre. So I decided to make my own! I've used Inkscape before but not for anything as precise as this. I'm trying to stick to the Lego design aesthetic (certain line thickness, max detail level, specific colors, proportions, etc) but its still a WIP. The head is the custom design here based on some cyberpunk concept art I found somewhere a while back. I may start doing this more and more. Any designs I put on non-minfigure parts I will try to make look more like custom printing. And of course, my strict adherence to the existing part colors will remain.
Oh and there's a cool bike too.
I present to you, my latest MOC! The story of this MOC is simple. I wanted a big building, I built a yellow wall, I built around the yellow wall.
It's one of the biggest single structures I've ever built as well as the tallest. I tried many experimental techniques, like using pneumatic hoses as wall piping. It's not that futuristic, but it's definitely cyberpunk.
Hopefully I'll build more of these in the future! Let me know what you guys think!!!
You can watch my YouTube video for an in depth look!
Bits from a dio I'm working on, not sure if all of them will make the final cut. Hoping to get this don by the end of the year.

No new figure prints here. Instead, I wanted to try adding stickers to tiles and slopes. This required more precise sizing and extra images to get the proper positioning but it was still easier than I had expected it would be. The hard part was designing the "TAXI" sign. I still am not completely satisfied with the result. The colored shapes to the right of each sign are supposed to indicate available seats with red and green "lights".
The warning signs above each door are also custom stickers. I basically mixed&matched various ExoForce designs. These, I AM happy with.
As for the auto-taxis, yellow just looked ugly so I went with grey. Maybe I should have mixed in some old grey...
Photomode is fun.
