The pattern looks like amoebas to me. What do you see? I initially started making this cuff with intentions of layering some circus-themed elements on top, but then decided it was just perfect as-is.

Hand cut from vintage tin, hand forged into a cuff that I laced with seed beads.

Weird leather cuff i made today. Kind of ugly, kind of awesome. The inside is lined with super supple wine colored leather, all hand stitched ( threads need trimming, i know)

I kept a lot of the natural edges giving it a rough unfinished look. The cuff is actually the toe of the ostrich that wraps around your wrist and buckles closed.

This is a cuff that I made for a swap that I am hosting for the Marie Antoinette Mail Art Group.

Big, bold and beautiful - this cuff is made to make a statement!

Graphite glass cubes are stacked in brick stitch to form the core of each segment, surrounded by swirls of seafoam luster glass seed beads on one side and grey iridescent seed beads on the other side.

Completely reversible, from a soft splash of color to smooth subtle shades of grey.

The sterling silver coil clasp is coiled from within the graphite glass cubes, fully integrated into the design.

This bracelet measures 7". It can be enlarged with another full segment to measure 8 1/2" and can be reproduced in many color combinations, just let me know if you're interested in something custom!

My first long sleeved men's shirt!

Covent Garden, London.

I cut the cuffs off and left the slit part as a detail. Strips of fabric from the side of the shirt used to make channels for the elastic.

This delicate hand crochet cuff is made to order in black. The cotton is extra fine and mercerized. The cuff has faceted crystal as buttons and along the rim.

A coffee coloured maple cuff bangle bracelet with scalloped edges. The bracelet was made by boiling a thin strip of maple in coffee and bending it around a form, then hand-shaping the edges. Fits wrists up to 7.5 inches. Finished with walnut oil.

Custom stretch maille cuff for my friend Noah. I met Noah when we were on tour together eons ago with Show Boat. I was one of the stage managers and he played the trumpet with our orchestra.

I'm also using Noah as my guinea pig to test out the ArtFire Kiosk app on Facebook.

just a lil' cuff i made, using vintage button and repurposed vintage silk, along with some rad brown fabric i found

Art and science, two very different parts of the human experience, have deep links and have long complemented each other. Here, woven into a dense organic body of glass beads in red, orange, green, grey and yellow are a fish vertebrae(Osteology), an abacus-like creation(Mathematics), a pair of junebug wing covers(zoology), a piece of raw citrine(Geology)and a single Swarovski crystal(clarity).

The bracelet is clasped with an artisan lampwork bead(Art).

All of the metal is sterling silver and the bracelet is stitched with Fireline for durability.

Wanting a daily reminder and a little inspiration around my wrist that was not permanent like a tattoo I came up with this mantra cuff. It is my hope to share these with others seeking a little inspiration.

These cuff bracelets are designed by me, and then I cut and etch them using my laser system. I also hand paint them and add Swarovski Crystals to them making them sparkle. If you want to see more of my work, www.getpersonalart.etsy.com also www.getpersonalart.com

K Marie Designz original cuff bracelet. I used the raw brass "Five Inch! Filigree-Style Pierced Plaque for Manipulation" from B'Sue's along with the raw brass "Favorite Victorian Filigree" to make this cuff. I have my own patina process. I added a couple of stampings and Swarovski crystal flatbacks and 20mm Swarovski chessboard piece for the center in Golden Shadow color.

I use E6000 to glue everything together along with heavy clips you use to hold a thick stack of papers together.

Holly Van Sciver teaches this cuff in her Beds classes. I regret that my cuff wil not have a twin. It was a very interesting exercise. The center flower, for example does not have six spokes in the center, nor eight. It has seven spokes, just to add interest to the endeavor. I think the thing that made me think the most was how to start it. (Hint: It began in the lower right hand corner).

Wes Anderson is one of my all time favourite directors, and this cuff features one of the best quotations from his most recent movie Fantastic Mr. Fox. It's funny how applicable this can be to real life situations, and might even save you the effort to find an appropriate reply at times.
