My first complete pair of socks in sock yarn! Knitted cuff to toe using two skeins of Regia in who-knows-what color-way. Knitted in a rib stitch. There's a lace rib pattern from Sensational Knitted Socks above the ankles, but it cannot be seen.
My first ever pair of socks was knitted in yellow Paton's worsted weight merino, and I started them because these were going soooo slowly, and I was confused by the pattern. The heavier weight and the light color made learning socks very much easier, and went so quickly that they were finished first.

This was originally intended to be a coral necklace, but somehow morphed into a cuff instead. It's carefully made and looks good paired with anything due to the neutral shades :) I see it as an alternative to traditional corsages and has no expiry date.
