Last night, I picked up these Brass and cloisonne cuff links. They're from the 50s. A very cool design, so, I'm sharing.

I have made it out of hand-dyed silk, with Freshwater Pearls and seed beads, filled with kapok.

Polymer Clay Textured Abstract Cuff

Amoeba comes from the Greek word amoibe, means change. It’s a tiny, one-celled organism that moves by changing its shape.

Just like these one-celled organism, the Ripple beads shimmer and shine and appear to change its shape and color all on its own.

Woven on a simple base, the Ripple “amoeba” are embellished with glittering Swarovski lachrosen for that added shimmer. The clasps is hidden and making the cuff appear endless, with no beginning or end.

Made this cane during the Highland Fling and sessions with Melanie West. I left the lining and egde more rough as this compliments the cane in my view

That'd better be the first and last time I see you like THAT, buddy.

Jewellery was a big part of Elizabethan Tudor fashion, especially for those who were rich and important. It showed both their wealth and status. Jewellery was also used to convey political messages, display religious beliefs and to remind people of friends and relatives who have died. Jewellery in Tudor times was not widespread and is essentially worn by the upper classes and those who could afford such finery.

Tudor bracelets tended to be made out of silver or gold and decorated with precious stones. Strands of pearls could also be wrapped around the wrist. The Elizabethan cuff is reminiscent of bracelets of the era. A wide cuff - elaborate, luxurious and intricately woven. A central panel of bezelled large beads form a bold focal point to the cuff. Eminently suited to the delicate wrists of the Elizabethan Tudor lady of the upper classes.

This is my entry for the EBW team challenge themed *Japan*

I think this bracelet cuff fits perfect for a modern samurai warrior princess.

The peaceful polymer clay face combines with soothing colors to create this earthy cuff bracelet.

Each tiny bead is individually hand sewn on a felt backing, then the bracelet is backed with recycled leather and edged with beading. The leather is branded with my logo and the Roycroft mark.

There is no metal base, so this bracelet is flexible and very comfortable. The strong magnetic metal clasp is sterling silver plate.

cuff is 2" wide at widest point

about 7" long- fits medium wrist

This necklace is my entry for the December Etsy Beadweavers Challenge. The theme was "Peace Piece" This bracelet reflects the feeling of inner peace and the unity with nature that I feel must be achieved before peace between peoples can become a true reality.

Got these cuffs as a Christmas present and I love them.

This is my pirate look.

I made a new type of embroidered felt cuff. It has a little elastic sewn in to make it fit comfortably.

Materials used: 100% wool 'fairy' (variegated) felt, solid felt for the inside, cotton embroidery floss, elastic band.
