Start of the September challenge - make a piece of mixed media jewellery

This 2 black American bridle leather cuff watch is lovingly made with wide, tapered center straps and closes with a stainless buckle. A slick black.

Bead Studs appear to be sitting on a bed of crystals. Little peaks all lined up in a row on its pointed end. The cuff forms a seamless bracelet around your wrist with the toggle clasp in the same shape and embellishments.

These urbun steel cuffs snap on with a functional hinge and are lined with high quality leather for maximum comfort. The image is sealed with a protective gloss finish. Your size made to order.

In the absence of any other inspiration I decided to make a cuff for my grand daughter today. It's made with Mary Engelbreit fabric for Moda with self covered buttons and machine embroidered stitches.

Amoeba comes from the Greek word amoibe, means change. It’s a tiny, one-celled organism that moves by changing its shape.

Just like these one-celled organism, the Ripple beads shimmer and shine and appear to change its shape and color all on its own.

Woven on a simple base, the Ripple “amoeba” are embellished with glittering Swarovski lachrosen for that added shimmer. The clasps is hidden and making the cuff appear endless, with no beginning or end.

This design is almost the work of a cuff and a half - but I like the lacy look of the overlay.

mosaic cuff links for my husband (a small gift for our fifth wedding anniversary)

An up close look at the securing mechanism of a simple (yet effective) pair of cuff-links often employed by your local law enforcement agency :)

I made this wrist pincushion using a shallow recycled bottlecap as its base -- to keep needles and pins from poking through! I pieced the cuff from reclaimed fabrics, and it has a wide velcro closure to accomodate many wrist sizes.

My first fabric cuff :). A little something for the Fourth of July that doesn't scream "I'm a Yakee Doodle Dandy!".

Besides, I'm feeling a little more patriotic this year.

Christy discovers the Urban Hippi Cuff.

It's a little decorative snap-on fringe.

Even I have to admit it: Here is a product so goofy, so stupid, so absurd, that it's delightful.

It almost makes this trip worthwhile.

Four of the five cuff-links I purchased through an eBay auction.

I need them for a special occasion. :)

Finished the cuff. Now to work in the ends, block, find wool felt for the foot of the stocking, and to attach the cuff to a made stocking. Details details.

Hand embroidered cuff closed

Hand dyed lace cuff, embellished with vintage rhinestones, vintage crystals, silver tone findings, sequins and seed beads..... sold on my esty shop....

I made a new type of embroidered felt cuff. It has a little elastic sewn in to make it fit comfortably.

Materials used: 100% wool 'fairy' (variegated) felt, solid felt for the inside, cotton embroidery floss, elastic band.
