I made a new type of embroidered felt cuff. It has a little elastic sewn in to make it fit comfortably.

Materials used: 100% wool 'fairy' (variegated) felt, solid felt for the inside, cotton embroidery floss, elastic band.

This gorgeous retro-inspired cuff was created around a black glazed ceramic square washer. The centre of the square is decorated with four ivory Czech glass druk beads and embellished with gold Japanese seed beads and a red Czech seed bead. The square is beadembroidered with the gold and black Japanese seed beads and 24 k. gold-plated Czech glass druk beads. The centrepiece is attached to a red genuine leather-covered brass cuff which is trimmed with the red Czech seed beads. The inside of the cuff is lined with black Ultrasuede.

The bracelet fits all sizes and is 1 ¾” (c. 4.5 cm) wide. The bead-embroidered centrepiece measures 1 ¾” (c. 4.5 cm) squared.

These urbun steel cuffs snap on with a functional hinge and are lined with high quality leather for maximum comfort. The image is sealed with a protective gloss finish. Your size made to order.

Bead Studs appear to be sitting on a bed of crystals. Little peaks all lined up in a row on its pointed end. The cuff forms a seamless bracelet around your wrist with the toggle clasp in the same shape and embellishments.

Ava cuffed her jeans herself, inspired by my cropped and cuffed jeans that day. I thought it was cute, so I left them that way.

Felt and bead cuff made for the Art Bead Scene monthly challenge. The art beads are faux ceramic (polymer clay) birds made by me. More on my blog (and a birdy to giveaway) fulgorine.wordpress.com/2014/03/30/birdies/

Two pairs of cuff links I use. They are violet in color. Wanted to study filter effects and used a violet color filter on flash. The table on which they were placed is chocolate brown in color. (Now where the heck did that disappear?) Horizontal color streaks unintentional. The previous picture got superimposed.

After rolling out recycled sterling silver into a sheet, a special message is hammered.

Then I'll form into a wide cuff bracelet.

I have made it out of silk, with two Freshwater peals, Glass wax pearls and seed beads.

I think the cuffs are my favorite part. blogged

Jewellery was a big part of Elizabethan Tudor fashion, especially for those who were rich and important. It showed both their wealth and status. Jewellery was also used to convey political messages, display religious beliefs and to remind people of friends and relatives who have died. Jewellery in Tudor times was not widespread and is essentially worn by the upper classes and those who could afford such finery.

Tudor bracelets tended to be made out of silver or gold and decorated with precious stones. Strands of pearls could also be wrapped around the wrist. The Elizabethan cuff is reminiscent of bracelets of the era. A wide cuff - elaborate, luxurious and intricately woven. A central panel of bezelled large beads form a bold focal point to the cuff. Eminently suited to the delicate wrists of the Elizabethan Tudor lady of the upper classes.

I made this for a good friend of mine Debi, she sent me a cuff, so I wanted to make her one.

This is a peyote stitched bracelet, using Miyuki Delica beads, sewn around a cuff form; tan leather lines the other side.

The peyote stitch is great for creating geometric patterns like this.

just taped to the pauldron for this shot, but it stayed on very well.
