Just wanted to post some fresh photos of what I've been up to lately! A nice "change" from what I usually do, but it still aligns with athletes in a way! Always good to dive into another photographic niche and learn different techniques,timings, editing, etc. It really does make you a stronger all around photographer.
Photos were taken for Zacada Circus during their "Circus Labyrinth" show.
From back in my days in a large corporate cube farm (as opposed to the small corporate cube farm I'm currently in).
This person just spent an extended vacation touring various beaches. This is what she fould in her cube when she got back.
She thought it was really cool.
Knit in one piece in the round from corner to corner. The white tag on the left is the cast on the white tag on the right is the bind off.

Another fun snapology project, and lovely object to photograph
My favorite part of the room (after the swift) is the stacked 9-cube organizers (thanks to my friend's dad for mounting the top one for me!). Tons of storage and space to display some photos. My knitting WIPs are in a few of the baskets and my cross-stitch is in one of the orange cubes. Next to the cubes is a folding chair, my apron (I'm messy with Modge Podge) and some more word art.

In this image you can see the DVD-ROM drive and data cable in the front of the cube. The left side contains the RAM, one Airport antenna, and the hard disk. The flash was off so you can see the lights coming from inside.
The Cube Dude Pirate is my entry for the "Pirate Part Plunder 2 Week 3" contest on ForbiddenCove.com. The seed part is the Crowbar (#4599453) two are used, one in the peg leg and one for the hook in the hand.
The Cube has 6 different colourful mosaics on its sides and combines a lot of the things that I love: Lego (obviously), geometric shapes, colours, mosaics and patterns and finally some logic and maths.

It was a very fun and satisfying build and it makes me so happy just looking at it.
Red/Cyan 3D glasses required for viewing. Each side of the 3D cube contains an anaglyph image of your's truly.
This cube consists of 138 4cm x 4cm squares folded into identical sonobe modules; the final size is about 6cm x 6cm x 6cm. The printed areas are made from pages from an old dictionary.

Kubuswoningen, or cube houses, are a set of innovative houses built in Rotterdam and Helmond in The Netherlands, designed by architect Piet Blom in 1984. The houses in Rotterdam are located on Overblaak Street, and beside the Blaak Subway Station. Blom tilted the cube of a conventional house 45 degrees, and rested it upon a hexagon-shaped pylon. There are 38 small cubes and two so called 'super-cubes', all attached to each other.
As residents are disturbed so often by curious passers-by, one owner decided to open a "show cube", which is furnished as a normal house, and is making a living out of offering tours to visitors.
The houses contain three floors:
ground floor entrance
first floor with living room and open kitchen
second floor with two bedrooms and bathroom
top floor which is sometimes used as a small garden
The walls and windows are angled at 54.7 degrees. The total area of the apartment is around 100 square meters, but around a quarter of the space is unusable because of the walls that are under the angled ceilings.
