This is a situation I don't expect to happen a lot more as the season goes on, but I had an akward amount of tiny tomatoes to deal with from this week's CSA. So, I made some brown rice, sliced and sauteed some leftover sausages from a BBQ on Saturday, and threw these guys in just to heat through. When they mixed with the rice, they made a beautiful little coating/sauce that tasted like the best of summer. It's so long between good tomato seasons that I forget what they taste like. ! bunch of bok choy, some Japanese greens Lou doesn't remember the name of, 1 squash, 6 potatoes, 2 ears of corn, one onion, and 2 Asian pears.
