Okay, I yelled out "YES!" when I saw this. If you don't know what this piece of movie magic is, watch this video very carefully...

Something's fluttering around bumping into windows and attacking women's hats in the sleepy town of Grimlocke!
(Cue time warp)
Cryptid had returned, and we resumed missions as normal. He was back, and with a few augmentations to play with. However, I could see something different in him. He had changed, or had been changed by the procedure. I kept a close eye on him at first, then came to accept that he could still be trusted. As I said before, we resumed missions like old times. And that led us here, fighting off Urags a second time at Maine. Somehow, they had regrouped and attacked us a second time. We were pinned behind a wall, using up the last of our ammo. Someone threw a grenade, scattering them. There were more targets than I could hit- and the Pulse Rifle was rapidly overheating. I fired my last shot, as the gun hissed and the coolant vented. I sighed, and called "Out!" All we had left were our knives, and a single magazine in my pistol. I smiled, knowing that it was another 12 dead Urags. I fired, and finally heard the clack as the magazine released. Ducking back behind the wall, I heard Cryptid say something about serving with me. I responded with, "Honor, sir," knowing full well what he'd say next. But I wasn't ready to die just yet...
I counted down, and we leaped up over the wall. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Cryptid take out an Urag as he hopped over. However, I was more focused on the Urag immediately in front of me. Letting loose a yell, I slammed both feet into its chest, bracing myself against the wall with my hand. One down, 100 to go.
And so, I kept going. I once again saw Cryptid grappling with a massive Brute. I briefly considered giving him a hand, then discarded that idea as another came at me. Scratch that, make it two. I had to finish this quick... and I rapidly formulated a plan.
The first came at me slightly ahead of the other. Perfect. I ran towards him, throwing my knife in the process. It landed slightly under its sternum, point down. All the brute could do was stare as I jumped, and kicked down off the handle. I felt the knife slide down, disemboweling the Urag, finally stopping as it hit the pelvic bone. One down, one more to go. I used the dying Urag's shoulder as a springboard as I jumped over it towards the second. Now weaponless, I used my weight to take this one out. Both of my feet landed square on its skull. I felt a crunch, and saw it collapse. Retrieving my knife, I looked around for more targets. There were none in the immediate vicinity. Then, I heard Cryptid call for a retreat. Live to fight another day, I suppose...

My travels around the UK by car for three weeks with my son. June/July 2019 Scotland.
Day fourteen. Loch Ness making our way to Inverness, where we are staying the night.
Loch Ness is a large, deep, freshwater loch in the Scottish Highlands extending for approximately 37 kilometres southwest of Inverness. Its surface is 16 metres above sea level. Loch Ness is best known for alleged sightings of the cryptozoological Loch Ness Monster, also known affectionately as "Nessie".
Loch Ness is known as the home of the Loch Ness Monster (also known as "Nessie"), a cryptid, reputedly a large unknown animal. It is similar to other supposed lake monsters in Scotland and elsewhere, though its description varies from one account to the next. Popular interest and belief in the animal's existence have varied since it was first brought to the world's attention in 1933.
Loch Ness has one island, Cherry Island, at the southwestern end of the loch, near Fort Augustus. It is an artificial island, known as a crannog, and was probably constructed during the Iron Age.
There was formerly a second island (Dog Island) which was submerged when the water level was raised during the construction of the Caledonian Canal.
Loch Ness lies along the Great Glen Fault, which forms a line of weakness in the rocks which have been excavated by glacial erosion, forming the Great Glen and the basins of Loch Lochy, Loch Oich and Loch Ness.

It has been quite some years since I have seen undines sporting in our native rivers. This young lady took a shine to a friend of mine a long time a ago, and stayed in the brook and and the fountains of the grounds of his estate, and sometimes even in the big house, for a time. She was shy, but liked to see the house party guests, even pretending from a distance to be one of them, but always only a giggle and a splash from safety .

I've taken a few snaps of Owlman but I haven't yet taken a picture of these great little Secret Saturdays micro monsters that I bought in Poundland at around Christmas time
An ancient cryptid thought to roam the Brazilian Amazon. Some say it resembles a giant sloth, while others say it is more akin to bigfoot. It is said to have only one eye and a mouth in its belly, which it has supposedly used to rip out the tongues of cows.
My version stands about 3 feet tall, has jointed limbs, and wired arms/hands. He is made from faux fur and 100% wool. His hands and feet are the same size as my own!

I used to think that my dad and I were so incredibly different. I used to think that we didn't understand each other one bit, and had not one thing in common.
My dad, or as I like to call him, my Pop, likes to hunt, fish, camp and be outside all day. He loves rocks, turkeys, fish, deer, elk and anything to do with the outdoors. Actually, it is more like he lives for these things. Hunting and fishing are his livelihood. I could not be further from that mindset.
I like to watch movies, hang out and work on my art, and I can't handle being away from my technology for more than a few hours at a time. I like cryptid creatures, zombies, and skeletons and anything else along those lines. Those are MY personal livelihoods.
But not so very long ago, I realized something very important. This summer, while planning my wedding, my Pop dropped everything to help plan and build some of the most spectacular pieces of art I have ever seen, all for one special day. All for me. He gave up his hunting and fishing all summer, the things he enjoys most in life, just for me.
For my Halloween Wonderland Wedding, my Pop crafted an incredible Wonderland tree, a beautiful trellis for me and Kevin to stand under, and a large replica of the Mad Hatter's Hat. Did he do this because he loves and knows Alice in Wonderland as much as I do? No. He did it because I am his one and only daughter and he would do anything for me. He went way above and beyond the call of duty and produced jaw-dropping results.
On my wedding day as we were all decorating and setting up, I looked up to see my pop traveling towards us with his gigantic construction trailer hauling these giant, elaborate pieces of art. I was awe-struck. People were following him in and pulling over to see what was going on.
It was at this moment, that I understood how much my dad loved me and how much I loved him. It was at this moment that I realized that we are not different at all.
We both see the world as a beautiful place. We both have the desire to make it an even more beautiful world through our art. He likes elusive creatures that live in the wild like turkeys, elk and fish. I like elusive creatures that live in the wild like yetis, bigfoot, and the Loch Ness Monster. He likes to mount all those creatures he loves and turn them into art for his home. I like to sew all my favorite creatures into plushes and place them everywhere in my home. We are both artists, always questioning and pursuing art.
I made him this turkey for Father's Day. A silly little gift, yes. But I meant for it to symbolize so much more. His gifts to me are obviously a whole heck of a lot more time-consuming and amazing, and now they symbolize our relationship. They symbolize this new journey we are on as we learn more about each other. But I meant for this funny little turkey plush to let him know that I now understand the things he loves so dearly.
I may not like hunting and fishing still, but I can understand why he does and relate it to my own passions. And I can appreciate that so much of my passion for life was passed down from him.
I used to think that my dad and I were so incredibly different. This year I learned that my dad and I are one and the same.

This is an Adjule, it is a cryptid. For those of you that don't follow cryptozoology, it is an animal that has been reported to exist but its existence has never been proven. I'm gonna try drawing all of the ones from the wiki list as well as the ones extra I know of.

Live, Believe & Dream! See You There!
Built in 1847 to serve the Irish and English settlers, this church was abandoned in 1985 after serving for nearly 140 years. These days, people say it's haunted! With its "Revivalist Gothic Style" and abandoned look, this church is a little spooky. Celtic crosses on top of the church (the second one is on the roof hidden in the tree) add to its gothic look. The Celtic Cross by the way is also popular with neo-Druids, occultists, neo-Pagans and New Agers. It was initially meant to symbolize the union between Christianity and Paganism, the merger between the Christian Cross and the Sun Cross. In the same vein, a fantasy/occult novel mixing fiction with some truths, called 'Agrippa', prominently featured this church as a place where the rural folks of the region would meet and celebrate.. dark things. - See more at: theparanormal.ca/road_trips_abandoned_churches.html
