The cables of the Santiago Calatrava-designed Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge catch the evening light over Dallas, Texas.
ENG: The term Strelasund crossing refers to the two bridge connections of the island of Rügen over the Strelasund to the Vorpommern mainland near Stralsund.

I have photographed the bridge from the "Rügendamm" bridge from 1937.This old bridge is directly next to the new one and accommodates the railway line to Sassnitz.

This spot is a bit unwelcoming with many posted "no parking" and "no loitering" signs, and without too much shoulder space along the road. I love the angle, and am glad I stopped, but would've stayed longer if I'd felt more comfortable.

I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You're doing things you've never done before, and more importantly, you're doing something. Neil Gaiman

The remains of the old passage jetty at Aust. The location of an iconic photo of Bob Dylan by Barry Feinstein in '66, used on the cover of No Direction Home. Dylan was waiting for the ferry to Wales just weeks before the new bridge opened and the ferry crossing closed.
A location Eddie Holden took a fine shot of back in deepest darkest lockdown when delivering goods to Southampton. On our trip to Dorset last week I thought I'd check out the spot, mindful a Morris Cowley Oxford to Southampton East Dock was conveniently timed with our journey. The weather not dark and foggy and the shot doesn't do justice to the buidlings behind me, but in the end it was quite rushed. Having parked the car and placed the parking ticket on the dashborad, as I walked towards the crossing I was concious of the loco creeping to the right so only just managed to get to this side of the road as the crossing sirens started. No gates, just a man in orange to ensure compliance with the warning signs, and of course a large loco and heavy train which can do some damage to a car.
NHN extra 1801 has just finished switching the train around at Hayes to continue back north to Union for the Heritage Days. They would stay there a little over two hours before continuing back to Ossipee to put the train away. Here they are crossing Milton Pond into Milton, New Hampshire after briefly passing through Lebanon, Maine.

When a robot patiently waits for a green light, the city’s future quietly merges with the present.
In Zurich, autonomous delivery robots are being tested in public spaces to explore new solutions for urban logistics and mobility. The project is a collaboration between ETH Zurich, local authorities, and robotics companies such as Anybotics, who are jointly researching how robots can be safely and efficiently integrated into the city. Zurich is considered an ideal location for these pilot trials due to its innovation-friendly environment and modern infrastructure.
