UP LSE59 heads back east from Pacific, MO, towards St. Louis city at Sherman Beach Park. Too bad the reflection wasn't clearer, but I couldn't ask for much better sunlight here..

PW NR-4 heads back west towards Plainfield, passing over the Shetucket River in Windham after interchanging with the NECR in Willimantic CT.
WC train 34 is crossing 6 mile road near the top of the climb out of Soo yard a couple miles railroad east(geographically north) of Dafter. Engineer Gary Drow has made short work of the hill with 711, 6543 and 6504 having only 3200 tons trailing them on a nice September 16, 1989 evening. In fairness I removed a couple powerlines that ran above the two big SD's. The three ex SOO GP30's that received full WC paint were my favorites to shoot on a WC roster full of really neat stuff.
Mass Coastal 2011 (ex-NH FL9M) crosses the Cape Cod Canal with a passenger special on the 544’ long vertical lift bridge built in 1935 for the New Haven Railroad.
The sun is trying to peak over the Rockies, with morning light being filtered through the morning mist. A BNSF manifest train is leaving Missoula, crossing the Clark Fork River on its way east.
Hawkshead Ferry crossing the lake on Windermere, as seen from Post Knott, above Bowness-on-Windermere, in the English Lake District.
ENG: The term Strelasund crossing refers to the two bridge connections of the island of Rügen over the Strelasund to the Vorpommern mainland near Stralsund.
The new three-lane high bridge with its striking pylon legs can be seen. It bears the name "Rügenbridge" and was opened in 2007. It connects the island of Rügen with the Hanseatic and World Heritage city of Stralsund.
I have photographed the bridge from the "Rügendamm" bridge from 1937.This old bridge is directly next to the new one and accommodates the railway line to Sassnitz.

My plan was to go for an early morning hike around the Upper Neuadd Reservoir in South Wales, hoping to capture some reflections of the Brecon Beacons in the water. As you might be already aware, there is usually something wrong in my plans and I have to improvise… Not only that the morning was very foggy and I couldn’t even see the beacons, but also the reservoir has been drained for quite a while! Without water there are no reflections, right?
Fine then, instead of wandering around the reservoir, I had an extensive walk THROUGH it, an experience I never had before. Pretty much at the end - or better the beginning - of where the reservoir should have been, I found this magic place with the fragile crossing over the stream. If fairies exist, I’m pretty sure they live around here…

It was amazing to witness the Chobe river crossing of a group beautiful elephants.
