Funny. Kingdom Hearts has always been connected to me, like destiny wise. Cuz when it first came out when I was 5, I watched that trailer in GameStop, and the song was stuck in my head for the longest time known to man. I forgot about it for 5 years and then remembered it when I saw the manga at the Book Fair at school. That eventually caused me to read every volume of Kingdom Hearts and I got Kingdom Heart I and II for Christmas...
Now every time I hear the song I automatically cry... Weird, huh?

020625 - In shape of a "mute" comic, this was actually more a script for an animation movie. I tried to work the story in some "cinematographic" way, with very arty images, some more abstract and even crossfades between the scenes. - Better in big.

I watched the majority of this year's Super Bowl football game as a disinterested fan, torn between wanting to witness a perfect season and wanting David to knock off Goliath. But then, at the end of the game, Plaxico Burress, the player who caught the game winning touchdown pass, broke down in tears of joy...this image is Plaxico, captured in a television cross-fade, wiping away the tears from under his new Super Bowl Championship hat. This was my 'feel good' moment of the whole event. Congratulations to the New York Giants on their win...and to the New England Patriots for an incredible season.
i like the clean style and crossfade animations to show you different views.

After research, experimentation and more than a little anxiety, I arrived at this setup to drive the 3 screens of video required by the Slingsby theatre production, 'Wolf'.
From left to right: Numark DJ io (soundcard) sits ontop of Matrox Triplehead2go (1 in 3 out video device). Acer Aspire 6930 laptop, with 1Gb dedicated video ram drives the whole operation, running Arkaos GrandVJ. Korg NanoKONTROL USB midi controller provides a faderband for GrandVJ's 8 layers of video. I use Numark TotalControl USB midi controller to control clip speed and crossfading between banks A & B.
My photo (star is blue) overlaid on the pre-nova star (magnitude 17).
The large star image size is due to gross overexposure, being 100,000 times brighter than per-eruption.

See the weak blue pre-nova turn into a visible to the eye star as slider is moved by mouse (mag 17 to 4.5).
