These two raccoons were fighting over the food in the cat bowl. The guy on the right has a bad front leg, so he uses his butt to push the other guy out of the way. It's pretty funny to watch.
Part crab and part shrimp, the Mangrove Critter is the perfect fly to throw for hungry fish just looking for something tasty. This Mangrove Critter pattern is effective on a variety of flats and ambush-type species.

This bobcat was resting lazily on our fence last spring. He stayed put for about an hour before moving on. I managed to get a few good shots.

Side by side of the old and new capsule critters/monster pals. The older one has the white belly. :)
His formal name is Smokey, but we all call him Critter. Fighting with the bell that's in his cage. He gets really upset with it because he can't destroy it.
Watch out! Skunks assuming this position cannot be a good thing. A whole family of these critters live at our Aunt's house in Ann Arbor, MI, lucky her. If I had my zoom lens on maybe the picture would have been better, but I was not stepping one foot closer with my 55 mm.

I shake me fist at ye...
It seems that Clyde is getting somewhat used to being a celebrity, and has adopted the pose of a raised fist for nearly all his portraits. Due to my masculinity, I was unable to obtain an autographed copy of a feature magazine article on Clyde, as the lovely Lady Lu was. So I have to take consolation in the other wonderful aspects of my natural gender advantage, like standing to pee... brb.
This is what I made for the annual HGB evening guild potluck and ornament exchange. Made from a sock, with wild eyelash yarn hair & mismatched button eyes (it's about 4" tall).
This cute critter could be a friend of Lil Spottie, www.flickr.com/photos/toria-clark/2791013869/ or Red & Green Elf, www.etsy.com/listing/14813999/elf-handknit-toy-green-red-...

I am a member of a group of photo geeks. A few weeks ago we went for a w/end to the French Ardennes for macro photography and landscapes and such.
This is the only half decent macro shot I succeeded, with a borrowed macro lens, since I don't own one.
