This was one of the very first pictures I took starting my new love affair with photography. These deer came down everyday towards the end of February looking for corn or even bird seed. It was kind of sad because they were so very skinny. Even though I was advised not to feed them, I bought bags of corn and apples for them anyway. I figure it was their land first and they had a right to eat just like I did.

I love these little anoles running all over my property. Now that it's warm again, they are all over the place, along with the toads, frogs and skinks. They are wonderful at keeping the insect population down. Unfortunately Zooie continues to work at keeping these little critter's population down as well. The almighty hunter is always looking for his next victim. Don't worry though, this guy was safe.
