I think I may drink too much tea! The critter is kind of looking wild and frowsy!

These two raccoons were fighting over the food in the cat bowl. The guy on the right has a bad front leg, so he uses his butt to push the other guy out of the way. It's pretty funny to watch.

This bobcat was resting lazily on our fence last spring. He stayed put for about an hour before moving on. I managed to get a few good shots.

His formal name is Smokey, but we all call him Critter. Fighting with the bell that's in his cage. He gets really upset with it because he can't destroy it.

Ok...insects are now included because this one was really cool.

Our pal Janelle invited us over to her farm to meet her dogs, goats, and alpacas! Lovely people; lovely critters.

I shake me fist at ye...

It seems that Clyde is getting somewhat used to being a celebrity, and has adopted the pose of a raised fist for nearly all his portraits. Due to my masculinity, I was unable to obtain an autographed copy of a feature magazine article on Clyde, as the lovely Lady Lu was. So I have to take consolation in the other wonderful aspects of my natural gender advantage, like standing to pee... brb.

Our VHS copy of Critters didn't have a case so my boyfriend made one...

Thanks for peeking. :)

I am a member of a group of photo geeks. A few weeks ago we went for a w/end to the French Ardennes for macro photography and landscapes and such.

This is the only half decent macro shot I succeeded, with a borrowed macro lens, since I don't own one.

Yet again a critter makes it into my project 365 set. This is noisy cat. He's a cat. And he's really, bloody noisy. I got out of bed twice yesterday morning (before get up time in my world) to look for him. I was convinvec there was some poor kitty tapped in one of the unoccupied chalets. I looked in several, listened at the doors and windows of locked one, searched the area... but no. Early afternoon we heard the pitiful wailing again and this big bugger strolls around the corner. He just wanders about the place bemoaning his life. Crazy kitty. He's rather lovely though. And has the most incredible coloured dark orange eyes I have ever seen on a cat. So vivid. Wow. He almost doesn't look real.
