We were the first ones to walk down the beach after the tide went out. About a half mile into our walk, we came across this expansive curious cross-hatch pattern of cast out sand from some kind of community of creatures. It seems they were all "keeping house" after the receding sea. It looks like they came up slinging sand either front to back or side to side, and not in a radial fashion
I dug into a few of them, but found nothing. My guess is sand fleas - little shrimp-like crustaceans. Any guesses? Anyone know the responsible party?

This creature can clean pipes and tubes on the inside. It folds its hands in front of it and flies right through! Its wings are black from all the dust and dirt... :)
Inspired by the Cthulu Mythos of HP Lovecraft and Carlo Rambaldi's creature in the movie 'Possession'.This our first foray into the plush vinyl media.
Hand cut, stitched, stuffed and glued by us.
I am currently creating images for a documentary about "The Bridgewater Triangle". A large, swampy area in Massachusetts that has a lot of paranormal activity.
Here we have a small, upright, apelike humanoid, originally mistaken for a child. The man who says he encountered it (Mr. Russo) thinks this image matches perfectly.
There's a farm at Rancho San Antonio called Deer Hollow Farm. It has
no deer, but it has chickens, goats, rabbits, sheep, pigs, horses, and
a cow.

CREATURES #5 is an interactive installation by Pier Giorgio De Pinto supplemented with the presence of the dancer Katja Vaghi. She will observe, reproduce and elaborate the movement generated by the audience in front of the digital installation.
Beside the five traditional senses, important to our everyday activities are balance and the kinesthetic sense or proprioception. These last two are central to dance. Dance thus work predominantly with our six and seven sense! The installation wants to make the audience aware of their and other people’s movement and convey the message that any movement produced by any one can potentially generate dance material.
A camera via software will use webcam effects decoding people in front of a screen. The installation modifies the result of the effects thanks to movement and strength of natural light caught by the camera. Similarly, at set interval, the dancer will observe, reproduce and elaborate the movements produced by the audience in front of the installation.
The intent is to make the audience conscious of their own movements and that of others. When interacting with the installation they will mostly be aware of their intentions but not of the aesthetic potential they are generating. Thus, the audience will have the choice of continuing interacting with the installation and/or with the dancer.
Many thanks to Tiziana Conte, Ludovica Molo, Luca Crosta, i2a International Institute for Architecture i2a and the staff of Festa Danzante.

While we were on spring break Justin had to feed cows while his friends were out of town. It was strange being so close to these creatures because they just watch your every move.
What is it? Found this bugger hanging out at the end of a box canyon. A few images and the little bit of the burn tool later and the creature has come to life. Good thing it was munching on trees, I had my whole family with me.
