tell you this in confidence.....

and bees buzz by!

Native British Isles bluebells are blue/purple in colour with an arching stem and long trumpet style flower with curled back petals, all growing on the same side of the stem.

Any other bluebell is a dominant foreign vagrant which is overpowering this beautiful indigenous variety.

Self Portrait

Canon 430EX II in 60" Photek Softlighter behind and above me. Incandescent in front of me to slightly highlight my face and the front of me. The background is a photo I took in the summer of 2011 of the Great Sand Dunes. It was a very windy day as a storm was brewing. That night the wind picked up and practically ripped my tent from the ground.

The wooden boat photo is from the Woodenboat Forum. Built by the Skaneateles Boat & Canoe Co. The ad calls this a "sailing canoe," but it's set up for rowing rather than paddling. Supposedly it's been hanging in a restaurant on Nantucket for at least 30 years.

“I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn't say any other way; things I had no words for.” -

Georgia O'Keeffe. This is an edited version of the bright red Amaryllis buds I just posted. With a few slides, I can change the mood of that image to what feels like a more calm approach to the world than the bold reds. Happy Sliders Sunday.

Most maybe the whole picture is edited in pixlr-express.

A creative edit of a doorway leading off the inner courtyard at the historic Charterhouse in London on a winters day. Creative edit.

It has been a while since I put together a slide for Sliders Sunday. This is a composite I made with three of my images just for a bit of fun. The original image is of a local range light with a woman fishing peacefully from the side. She seemed oblivious of any movement around her and she stayed so focused on her fishing pole. I bet nothing could have phased her while she was in her peaceful moment. 😏. Check out the signs on the range light. There are so many cautions in our world today. I added the stunt plane and the rafters on the water. Let your imagination run free.

This photo was an attempt to express what I feel, but I apologize if I've expressed advertently your feelings too!!
