Olivia thinks about Christmas and what it really means.

Parfois, je me prend a rêver, et a imaginer que j'aurais le pouvoir de donner la vie à des choses, des personnes, des événements, simplement en les dessinant ^^

Death is the most powerful leveling force. Whether rich or poor, powerful or weak, letting go of a loved one is never easy but there is never a choice.

For the "52 Weeks of 2022" group: Food Photography with Backgrounds. Read on for ingredients.

Hubby says he likes my friend apples better than Cracker Barrel. They are mainly Honey Crisp, and then I add a Fuji or Gala for extra flavor. One banana for each 3 to 4 apples gives a nice extra sweetness without using sugar. I only wish I had some pretty glass dessert bowls for display since the white ceramic didn't present as well as I'd hoped. Being short means I have to stand way above the food if I don't have a transparent dish for presentation.

And they were delicious. If you're like me and try to avoid added sugars, you'll find that if you mash a banana and butter in the skillet until it's a puree, and then I mix it with the apples and their spices, it has a nice combination of sweet and tart. Spices include a mix of Ceylon cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, allspice, and a few whole cloves that I remove before serving.

Sometimes, I add about half a teaspoon of PureCane, which is a type of xylitol fermented from sugar cane. This is the first time I tried a topping, and for that, I crushed almonds & pecan crackers then mixed that with 7-seed meal and a package of low-sugar apple-cinnamon oatmeal.

We were in the metro to Lausanne when my boy told me that he needed to go to the WC. So, we jumped out at EPFL to use the Holycow ones. On our way to jump back in the next metro, I asked him to stand there and look up, already thinking I would add something in the white plastic dome area.

A friend of mine was surprised when visiting this place for the first time, being sure it was open to the sky due to my edits of that place...
