I had to wait in the house for hours with nothing to do but wait on the phone to ring...or for the Tow Truck Man to show up.
I decided to mess around in Corel's Paint Essentials 6 and actually watch a tutorial and follow along.
Of course in the end, I did my own thing.
What should have been a quick visit to the local library ended up sparking my creativity. The ceiling had some built-in lights that followed each other down the hallway, and with a different angle, I got some "star wars" vibes from it. The world seen from a different angle

A digital work. The same image twice, once mirrored horizontally and then both put together, but cropped on the right. Looks a bit like a face... Seen and photographed in Pyrgos/Santorini/Greece.
For Sliders Sunday, I added a little flourish to this vibrant leaf. I blended in another background that had some neat bokeh in fall colors. Then I added some faded falling leaves in behind.
I've wanted to do some more conceptual-type stuff for awhile now. So, I decided to spend a couple of sleepless nights putting this together.
