A few of our office colleagues had given us this beautiful castle as a gift for our wedding and I knew that it would come real handy during one of the weekends. The weekend before the last one was when I shot this & I loved the way the light was streaming in through our windows. I have been working on getting that perfect black backgrounds for sometime now & this click really made me happy. Hope you like it too.
These tongue-in-cheek paintings by Indian artist Paribartana Mohanty would put a smile on any Mac cultist’s face. Titled “Different Jobs,” they feature Apple’s founder Steve Jobs working in different professions—that of a shoemaker in this case. Will Steve Jobs be as well known should he choose to pursue the field of shoemaking in India? Is that an Indian Jobs?
Seriously WTF. Crazyisgood. SML Love.
(I am not particularly drawn to this style of painting, though it feels like that they are referencing the traditional portrait painting for royals in India. That said, perhaps my Indian friends can appreciate this better than I do.)
