Yea - right - well, I had the entire length of selvage 1 1/4'' wide piece from the other side with which to make the long Tie Tube.
I stitched with my presser foot along side the fold at the left, right sides together - and then expected to turn this 2 yard length right side out - using my Loop Turner as you see here. WRONG!!!! Too long, and even though I took a 'big bite' as you can see in this photo with the hook on the end, it was a booger to try to turn, and it ripped through the end - leaving my turning tube a total FLOP!
How about some yarn to use as the Tie Tube????

Create A Smile September Moodboard Challenge
My impressions to that moodboard:
The colorings will be kept in orange, grey, silver and black like from the first pic. The pic in the right top corner made me think of a shaker card, like the little corns ... The pumkin is round like the sequins I am using. The leaves moving around in autumn like the shaker shaking ... so a lot of celebrations can happen in autumn ... so cheer out loud, dance, shake and have fun all!

Our Maker Art class created a Haunted House in fall 2016. In this after-school workshop at the Lycée Français, students ages 7 to 10 built a fantasy world together, with magical creatures, ghosts, witches and other spooky characters.
We combined arts and technology to bring their creations to life: each student created their own room in our haunted house, and animated their characters with motors and simple mechanisms, adding lights and sounds to tell their stories.
Students started by designing their rooms and characters, and built them in their own cardboard ‘wonderboxes.’ We then asked them to sketch up their individual visions of the Haunted House and combined them together. Children worked in teams to build some of the more complex features: a clock tower, an elevator and an animated graveyard zombie, all powered with Arduino boards.
I’m very grateful to my associate teachers for this class: Sarah Brewer and Edward Janne were amazing partners and empowered our students to create their own interactive art, helping them bring their ideas to life in a playful way that made learning more fun.
We taught this class weekly at the Lycée Français in Sausalito, with 8 school students in grades 3, 4 and 5. We met every Thursday at 3:30pm, from September 15 to December 8, 2016. Many of the materials we used in this class were prepared at Tam Makers, our makerspace in Mill Valley.

Created to express the feelings and emotions of my family after my uncle took his life. Titled, 'Shared Pain', to represent the pain my family felt and currently feels in relation to how I image he felt. Although many of the images are heartfelt and depict hard emotions, the final image I had created was angel wings to illustrate a place of strength for my family along with a place of acceptance for him. This art helped me cope and find strength along with helped my family identify their emotions through visualizing images they could relate to.

Create a expansive cityscape, featuring a blend of historical and steampunk architecture, astrolabes, and large, decorative structures to add a sense of wonder and technological advancement. Include an elevated perspective overlooking the city. Buildings with tall, prominent structures such as towers, domes, and spires, exhibiting ornate and intricate designs. Advanced or fantastical technology integrated into the cityscape, such as airships or flying vessels in the sky, and mechanical structures on rooftops. I saw these two squirrels together on the coconut palm in our garden.I quietly walked hiding myself behind a wall not to disturb them as otherwise they would run away.I was lucky enough to make a shot of the pair.

Created by making jerky motions with "Max RGB Street Lights" poi in front of an DSLR set to 8 second timed exposure.
Completed range top rendering with custom panels, knobs and branding in the texture and via polygon above the central oven knob. Finalized in 2018.
