RAF pilots claimed to have shot down about 2,600 German aircraft, but figures compiled later suggest that Luftwaffe losses were more likely nearer 2,300.
On this day in 1940, the Luftwaffe embarked on their largest bombing attack yet, forcing the engagement of the entirety of the RAF in defence of London and the South East, which resulted in a decisive British victory that proved to mark a turning point in Britain's favour

" We crashed at around 18:30 yesterday. I've been here defending this crash site for several hours. I don't know where that Dan rescue bird, that I radioed for, is. It's been quiet for about 45 minutes now. But I feel as though the enemy is still close by... Watching me and plotting my death. I don't have much ammo left, but I will do whatever it takes to get out of here alive."
Just a small little scene that I decide to put together. Enjoy!

A very nice visit to the Fire department at Coventry Airport and some kind cooperation by the station crew enabled these photos to be tanken. Thank You

The Cathedral of St. Paul was the backdrop for the Red Bull Crashed Ice event. It was amazing and beautiful. Well done to everyone who made the church and the event look radiant.

Another shot from mine and Graham's Scotland road trip a few months back.
Thought I'd give EL a go and make it look like there was an actual fire. I think it's come out pretty well, but had to do a little compositing to stop a lot of the red fading out from the other lighting.
This photograph consists of 3 5 minute stacks and one composite of pure EL (i.e. no other lighting to wash the EL out). Graham was reppin the wire wool too =)
What don't you like? I edited it yesterday and looked again today and thought it looked real messy =/
