When drawing a comic strip, I'll often repeat a panel, but make slight changes to the second one. I find that it makes for a good effect. Here's a page from my strip on the financial crisis of 2008 to illustrate my point.

As the phrase goes “This is why we can’t have nice things”. Here are some details on the unfortunate crash of my T600. I hope to be able to fix it myself without voiding the warrenty. If I do have to send it off to DJI for official repairs, I could be without it for months.

Otley make short shrift of the Guiseley attack on their own Cross Green ground during a one-sided 2018 Waddilove Cup Final, the Airedale & Wharfedale Cricket League's annual showpiece. Jamie Pickering and Ben Morley, both at the crease in this capture, crashed quickfire half-centuries as Otley routed neighbours Guiseley by nine wickets in a top-versus-bottom clash of First Division rivals. Victory keeps Otley on course for a league, cup and T20 treble. Guiseley, doomed to relegation, did well to get into three figures after finding themselves 74-6. Otley reached their modest target in just 10 overs. The Waddilove match was switched at short notice to Cross Green from Olicanian Cricket Club because the Ilkley outfit's heatwave-affected outfield was deemed unfit.
Match statistics:
Admission: £2. Programme: four pages (w/a). Attendance: 225. Guiseley won the toss and elected to bat. Guiseley 122 off 38.4 overs (Damon Reeve 28, Jonny Baines 27, Nathan Goldthorp 4-23, Ricky Halloran 2-13) lost by nine wickets to Otley 124-1 off 10 overs (Jamie Pickering 59 not out, Ben Morley 54). Umpires: Peter Roe and Nicholas Ryder.
