My self project was to do with family and family life, I chose certain items from different family members to create my project as these signifcent items reminded me of them.

This is to do with my Step-brother, the reason the jacket reminded me of him is because I helped him choose it again for a Christmas present and alos has the 'A' for Adidas but also reminded me of his name.

Here I looked into photorealism and various artists that specialise in it. Linda Huber was one in particular that I enjoyed.

The topic of "Contained" was given for our AS Coursework. My peers and myself studied the book "Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley, in which we took key themes from, for example hypnopaedia and created a multisensory installation, at Fort Widley, Portsmouth.

AS- level coursework final piece: these pencil sketches of eyes have colourful space nebula and blackholes as the irises of the eyes.I think the use of coloured pastels, although effective on a large scale, were difficult to use for smaller , confined areas like here in the eyes. I have developed on from these portraits with watercolour sketches as well.
