A Tour Poster that I've created for Bruno Mars as a part of my A2 coursework. I wanted to aim for a retro, comic book style.

For my personal investigation I chose Upcycling. I chose to research Kurt Schwitters, as his collages were made of throw away items. This linked with my stimuli because Upcycling is all about re- using items and giving them, a whole new purpose.

For my classwork, using felt_tip_felon's light box, a box of straws, some crayons, and 2 flashguns! (plus 2 assistants!!!)

Here are some examples of contrasting, analysing and taking a closer look at buildings from different generations and styles. This is from my coursework,and all of the sketches were made by hand and from observing and visiting these buildings around London.

My third generation again not a lot changed other than the weight of the line but the fourth generation is where I experimented with colour. The colour I felt was starting to really push the how recogniseable these characters could be, they had achieved simplicity but to people who dont have a great knowledge of videogames would probably find it hard to make out what they were.

My cat, Fred, who was not happy that I had spent a lot of time working on my coursework rather than paying attention to her.

Our suggestion for college students is that, they should attentively listen to the lectures and make proper notes in the class. This would greatly improve their writing skills and they will definitely find themselves at ease doing their regular homeworks. This is my first outcome for a2 textiles. Technique was inspired by Noel Dyrenforth for layered Batik and Garment structure Sue Rangeley. ( inside layer layer, slightly opened, reversible Cloak).
