PERSONAL FUN FACT: I cannot deny that I am OBSESSED with these sweets/food themed LOLs. I adore that brands collaborated with M.G.A...it makes the tots feel that much more lush. I had my eye on the Mini Bites line since I first saw images of the dollies on Amazon. I figured I would wait until they were marked down at Walmart, or if I needed a cheap item to qualify for free shipping online. Every tot from this collection is as cute as a button, so I knew that there wouldn't be much chance I'd be disappointed (I only found the Wheaties themed tots a little boring/plain). Anyways, in September of 2023 my sister and I had nearly completed our wave of "Signature" Monster High dolls from the third generation. I hadn't originally intended to get them all, but as I acquired a new character here and there I fell more in love. Ghoulia just so happened to be a Target exclusive. I only go to Target in person every few months (when I need to go to the nearby Tractor Supply to restock some pet essentials). It seemed as though most places were phasing out the "Signature" dolls, as they were marked down everywhere. Colleen wanted a new book from Target, so we figured it would make sense to simply place and order online. Unfortunately, we were just shy of the free shipping qualification (since Ghoulia was around $10 off). I poked around the other doll listings, but settled on a Mini Bites tot (she was just a few dollars more than we needed, which worked out). Colleen had been hoping that we'd get the Count Chocula doll. I also admired this lady, but liked a few of the others just as much. Both of us were delighted to have scored Count Gurl. Usually I don't get so lucky with these surprise gimmick dollies (which is why I refuse to buy more than one from a given set brand new). Her chocolatey colored molded tresses are divine, and perfectly suited for the Count Chocula vibe. As a kid, I do recall eating Count Chocula cereal (most of the other brands represented in this wave I either didn't like or never tried). However, I tried it again as an adult in my early 20s and found it disgusting. That does not take away from the sheer cuteness of this lovable little creature though!
a lovely sunset- change is in the air.
As I post this, we have a fierce windstorm- the wind is roaring down from the mountains at 80km and more....
Birthday Hands.
Our youngest. Our oldest. Our one. Our only. Our dream come true.
Now she is 8.
PS. She counts like an Italian, with the thumb always as the "one" or "six" rather than the "five" or "ten."

I'm sure Christopher Lee could take time out of his schedule to be here... pffft.
This LO is about my love of Fat Face clothes for the Category Stories Perfect Fit challenge. I don't count shopping for clothes as one of my favourite past times, nor do I like to spend ages deciding what to wear. That's why I like Fat Face so much, their clothes fit me well & everything co-ordinates so I can create lots of different outfits with a few key items & very little effort. Their accessories are cute too! Most importantly everything is comfortable to wear which leaves me feeling good. Fat Face is simply my perfect fit when it comes to fashion.
I used a Fat Face tag as a base for my title & a little logo clip too which I inked to define the raised image. Added some Pebeo to the Prima hydrangeas as the large one looked quite plain. Following the veins has created a lovely effect so I'll be sure to try this technique again. As it is all about clothes I used the Fancy Pants Simplicity collection & stitched along all the borders, both with my sewing machine plus some hand stitching with my favourite rainbow thread.
Purple isn't a colour I often use or wear but I love this deep plum t-shirt I got last summer. I often use pink & turquoise (my two favourite colours) but don't think I've ever teemed them up with this shade of purple before, I really like the combination though.

The guy in the vest was actually juggling to the solo. He was hula-hooping to the verses, and that's the damn truth. It was a street festival, after all.

The pile, 150 pounds of steel plates to reduce the counted background radiation by factor of 5 just by shielding the flanks but not the ends of the detector. I have more steel, but enough lifting for now. My Heathkit Monitor 4 Geiger counter is on top of the pile. No, it is not a chain reacting pile, that square thing is the back end of the detector, not a control rod! Should I install a warning Klaxton and flashing lights?
