Cool Cat amongst the clutter at the former Hill Top Beer Joint.(Someone was having a yard sale) La Grange,Texas. 3.29.2013.
A mother Polar Bear cools off in a patch of snow on a very hot day in Greenland. This mother and her cub were walking along the side of the fjord and once they saw the ship the mother became immediately curious and eventually and tentatively came right down the waters edge and even entered the water and swam out towards our zodiacs. She was regularly smelling the air and I am sure she was sizing us up for a possible next meal. She and the cub returned to shore after deciding we were not worth the effort. The cub was the hairiest I had ever seen, it looked like it was shampooed and blow-dried. This was one of the most amazing Polar bear encounters I have ever had. The beautiful weather and calm waters made my photos look like they were taken in a zoo!

Recent Ebay win. GE Cool Bright Replacements. The Cool Bright lamp was introduced in 1970 as a cool burning standard Christmas lamp. This allowed for the continued use of the C7 lamps on artificial Christmas Trees which were growing in popularity. The tradition C7 lamps would melt the plastic needles.
These rock formations just added such interest to this area!! I don't remember them being here, but it was so long ago that I don't really remember. Flathead River runs along the trees out there...I just love it out here!! Have a nice evening all!! The weather is super windy...makes it miserable to do anything outside!! :)
Not only is the blue hair, but also the bag and the boots as well. That reminds me, I've been looking for a photo to pair with this song...

I happened to notice this door on a large home in the historic district. I think it's new, but perhaps I've just wasn't paying attention.
