This is my eldest, he's the only male in the show. Nearly twelve and he's cool as anything ;)

Fog was rolling in as I took these hand held night photos of the cooling towers near the University of Illinois Abbot Power Plant at Champaign, IL.

Photographed using a Nikon F3 on Kodak Tri-X 400. Exposed at EI 1200 for developing in Diafine.

I am guessing on the date--my father is on the left with a pipe, probably at the ripe old age of 18--on the reverse is written, "Uncle Sam was glad to get rid of the one on the right". Either my father was joking with his remark, or the GI with shades was a bit of a hellraiser

On Friday, February 7, 2014, high school and middle school students dashed into the icy Atlantic as part of Special Olympics Virginia’s largest fundraiser: The Polar Plunge and the Cool School Challenge.

“Raising one million dollars for the fourth year in a row is incredible,” said Rick Jeffrey, Special Olympics Virginia president. “More importantly, though, these funds will help us to build bigger, better, more inclusive communities across the state of Virginia.”

In addition to the money raised, they got to take the icy dip into the Atlantic, all while earning a Friday “pass” from school, earn community service credit, Costume contests – prizes for best dressed male and female, prizes for teacher or team sponsor, and freezing photos.

In case you didn't know, it's been pretty hot in NYC lately. The day this was taken I think the temp hit the high 90s. Don't worry, we didn't take Zucco out for long especially since he has a heart condition these days. This was his potty break and was about a block and a half away from us. We took him to a bus shelter in a shady area to give him some water to cool him off. The minute he sat on the bench, he stuck his butt out and pressed it against the cool metal/glass. Still not as good as air conditioning but it helped for a brief moment.

After soldering, let the component cool for a few seconds before letting it go. You might also want to trim off any sharp edges remaining; there are several here.

But, sad news... Figaro will take his wife now on honeymoon vacation for an uncertain amount of days :-(

Sad but true, we'll have to say good-bye to Figaro and wish him good luck on his further way!

Thanks folks for all your comments, faves and inspirations! Most important...have fun and enjoy!

The schematics of a water-cooled air conditioning system as applied in many commercial buildings. The cooling tower cools the condenser so that the chiller can generate cold water with lowest possible compressor effort. From 2012. It rarely rained last summer, so the sight of possible storm clouds brewing had me all excited. I almost forgot what they looked like!

Please, I would like to leave a comment about the image.

Any criticism would be welcome

2 sides of horror noises, way cool. And a very nice drawing.
