This was such an unusual and fascinating shoot. Lindsi wanted to shoot in the Boise River to show off some new swimwear. Sounds good. We got to the river and everything was orange - we had thick wildfire smoke and a setting sun. Nasty smoke smell. Lindsi looked like she od'ed on orange tanning cream. Even though it was still summer the water was actually pretty cold so Lindsi was shaking but wanted to carry on. Wow. In spite of all this I love how the shots turned out - and Lindsi is still talking to me!

I took these photos in early September 2021 at the Star River Walk Park.

This cool cat posed for me in front of the Christmas tree....was a gift from my sister many years ago.
