When you’re cool, the sun always shines! I remember one of my relatives telling my Mother this years ago. With this in mind, it’s wise to keep the eyes covered. Just like in this painting that I saw at Marshall’s earlier this year.
A black bird takes a cool splash in the garden birdbath today. I was out with my camera when he flew onto the fence then just dived right in, and started slashing and ducking under the water- water drops were going everywhere. With the temperature of around 26'c who can blame him.
Foot-long string-bean-like seed pods hang from a tree in the cold evening air last night. Anyone know what kind of a tree this is?

Rocky Mountain National Park. I enjoyed escaping the desert for a week to enjoy mild summer days in Colorado.

Smart bird! Taking the opportunity after a long, hot day to wiggle his toes (and legs) in the cool waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
All day I face the barren waste without the taste of water,
Cool water.
Old Dan and I with throats burned dry and souls that cry for water,
Cool water.
The night are cool and I'm a fool each stars a pool of water,
Cool water.
But with the dawn I'll wake and yawn and carry on to water,
Cool water.
(Chorus)
Keep a movin' Dan, don't you listen to him Dan, he's a devil not a man
and he spreads the burnin' sand with water.
Dan can't you see that big green tree where the waters runnin' free
and it's waiting there for me and you.
Water, cool water.
The shadows sway and seem to say tonight we pray for water,
Cool water.
And way up there He'll hear our prayer and show us where there's water,
Cool Water.
Dan's feet are sore he's yearning for just one thing more than water,
Cool water.
Like me, I guess, he'd like to rest where there's no quest for water,
Cool water.
