The Piazza IX April in Taormina has one the most stunning views seen from a Piazza. Happy people are walking around, shooting photos, and a couple of bands were playing music. (I do love having live music when I shoot photos). And this saxophone player, was fantastic. Sitting on his chair playing the most gorgeous saxophone.

Trying to cool down a little the other day, Today however its not so hot thank the lord but it is very wet. so maybe not so good.
Did like this outfit as it made me feel really good about myself.
So looks like i have a job that starts as of the 1st of September. Have to say the commute is long as are the hours worked but the flip side is no weekend working. I however won't count my chickens until i actually start working as these things can change rapidly in my trade.
It was midday in Jaflong Sylhet near the Indian border. One of the guys started spaying water on the common ground of the village to settle the dust. It was late winter and days were getting warmer. This kid was eying on the water for a while and jumped directly into it when his mother got inside the house. After few minutes in the water, he totally forgot about his mom. He started screaming with joy and so was his mother for wetting his shirt.

Heatsink.
From the sublime beauty of nature yesterday to the harsh form of human artefact. Still it interests me with it’s patterns and focus blurs.
I can understand why abstracts are less popular on Flickr but I like the way they tease my mind out of its comfortable-in-the-known lethargy. Probably just me {sighs}.
This was taken in June (like yesterday’s) but when I was repairing my TV recorder. I noticed the rather neat main board. How much they have changed since I was last seriously wielding a soldering iron!
Originally I took this for a macro Mondays theme but then decided on something else, far better I am sure. This is the main heatsink on the largest chip.
I’m pretty averse to calling anything cool since the word was appropriated to mean something else, but it kind of fits the subject so the title is a bit of a joke at myself.
This is surprisingly close to the in-camera original. Just a play with colours and a bit of glow.
The 7DWF group is on holiday at the moment so this is just getting posted into the aether on a wish. Happy Thursday anyway :)

[Handheld in daylight. Developed in Lightroom mainly to get a range of tones without too many haloes. (My original intention was to make this a black and white or a duotone, but I got sidetracked into a colourful direction). Dropped the colour temperature to get the cool blue.
Processed in Affinity Photo with a bit of work in Curves and Shadows and Highlights to lighten the dark bits.
The layer was duplicated with Glow blend mode to get the soft neon effect, nothing more.
I tried a black frame to see how it worked. Not totally convinced but any comments would be very welcome!]
It's a cold, damp day in the East Bay Hills. Not an ideal time to be out and about....unless you love trains. After four years of drought in Northern California, I now have the opportunity to railfan in the rain. It presents many challenges, and can be uncomfortable at times, but overall, it's a kick!
The crew of a westbound OIG train at Christie, CA looks puzzled and dumbfounded to see a railfan standing in the rain photographing a train. Do I care....no!

This is the last picture from the photowalk downtown. Took this one outside of Fifth Avenue place downtown that has a few little, albeit expensive shops; I've never venture in, but it just looked so lively inside compared to that of the gloomy sky!

At long last, after being shrouded in darkness for eons, Proctor Scorpio returns!
I would add more story to this but since essentially nobody cares these days ii'm going to leave that bit out. What is more important is this; I've struggled a lot last year and because of that it's been a terribly slow year for moccing for me. I'm hoping to be more active in 2018.
Lastly; apologies for the decrease in picture quality. Some asshole smashed my "good"camera on NYE so I had to resort to my mobile phone for this one.
