Shot with my Olympus TG-1 using the setting: Super LED Macro mode. It's a very cool macro mode and I really like the ability to light up the motif with the LED-light.
This is what I saw at my office first thing Monday morning. Some hood felt the need to bust my window to get his jollies... Although, it made for a few pretty cool macro shots
So, I sent my son to the store last night to get a slurpee so I could take cool, macro shots for Macro Monday's frozen theme. Alas, none of the macro shots worked but I liked the bright colors of this shot.
Macro with 50mm @ f/11, and speedlite used.

I tried to take a cool macro shot of this fly walking up and down on the inside of my livingroom window.
As it didn't stop and wait for any of my shots they were all bad.
I had to smack it over it's head and place it on the couch to make this photo. Poor thing
So my Flickr friend Roni had these really cool macro shots on her stream that she took by using a reverse lens method. Very cool...this is one of my first tries. Notice the 'one'...an hour and 90 pictures later I gave it a rest :-)
PS You should really go check out her stream...she has the most awesome strawberry shots I've ever seen.
Project 365 Day 25 : Thats not Mars! It's a technique called Free Lensing. I took the lens off of the camera, and turned it around. it gives this cool macro style. The Subject is a brick wall in the bitter cold.

Used the free sunday to try to take some macro shots of my seawater aquarium. My planing was to get a cool macro shot of a crab, but by setup the camera i discovered a lot of other lifeforms which are living under the ground. It's amazing to see how every centimeter of our earth is filled with life, if you even can focus more and more.
The smallest coral stones which you see in the shot have less than 1mm. Unfortunately i can't get the shots really sharp through the glass front. I also tried to get these in video.

When I saw my littIe girl with a bowl of popcorn, I couldn't pass up an opportunity for a cool macro shot. I finished this in Picnik with a cross process and then rounded the edges. Kind of a boring pic, so I figured this was a good tim to play around in Picnik. I'm considering making the big purchase - a DSLR, so I have been doing more research than shooting....
I saw these lovely little bubbles dried onto my boyfriend's shaving cream container. I thought they would make a cool macro.
