I love the chat pad. It connects to the controller with such ease and it does not get in the way while playing games.
My girlfriend got into the excitement surrounding the launch of the Wii, and made these cookies based on the classic Nintendo controllers.

This closeup of the solder side shows the pull up resistors for the TC74 I2C lines, made from four 2.2 KOhm SMD resistors.
I 'finished' my PAP (Pole Aerial Photography) controller and camera rig today :-)
This image shows the controller. It has a knob to adjust the tilt of the camera frame and a button to trigger the camera.
The tilt and trigger signals are sent to the camera rig by radio (inside the box).
The box also contains a small receiver (antenna is visible on images) that receives a live video feed from a small camera on the rig (to allow precise aiming). This feed is displayed on a small TFT display.
The box is powered by a LiPo battery that should last a few hours...

Finally shema and pcb layout of the master wireless remote controller. Use the Atmega168 or Atmega328p as controller. This master controller have 3 flash output in TTL mode and send the settings of 4 other wireless flashes to a slave controller. This master have a 2x16 character LCD to view all the settings, powers, offsets etc... 4 x AA batterys give the power to this controller. The status of the batteries are also showed on the LCD display.
Later I will give the pictures of the unit. Software is ready now and tested, I just have to wire the PCB ( I always use prototype PCB with holes at 2.54mm raster and ).

-The Fat Controller, first sketch
The controller of a railway called the Island of Sodor and only says three lines in the first sketch, but he serves as a non-speaking character in the rest of the sketches. As the narrator said at the end of the second sketch, he went on an extended holiday in South America. At the end of the fifth sketch, he had accepted a $200,5000 redundancy package before the Island of Sodor closed down.
A small project I did, using a Playstation 2 controller and Arduino to control the speed and direction of a bipolar stepper motor.

My current method for storing game systems, and their accessories. Systems are in the cubbyholes. The cords and power bricks are hanging on the wall; I tried baggies for each system, but then I was having to dig through the bags every single time. I'll probably source a piece of pegboard I can hang up in here.
I keep controllers in the hanging shoe racks. This has served me far better than any of the drawer based solutions. Each cubby has enough room for one or two systems worth of controllers, and I can typically manage to pull just what I need, without having to sort through three or four other systems worth of stuff. I'd buy another one of these shoe racks, but then I'd have to displace some of the coats.

In the above image you can see the controller with the first 5 DIP
switches set: this corresponds to binary 011111 = 31° Centegrade,
or 87.8° F. You can set the switches to any temperature between 0
and 63° C which should be sufficient for most cooling tasks: for
negative temperatures you will need to modify the code somewhat.
