Quadrotor Flight Controller class at the HiTech STEM Lab at the East Columbia Branch of the HCLS. The purpose of the class is to introduce students to quadcopters through hand-on learning. The studets investigated the physics behind multirotor liftoff, stabilization, direction of flight, and landing the aircraft. Students worked in teams to assemble the
propulsion system and wire the flight controller and power system. Students honed their flight skills through a flight simulator before flight testing their builds in the final class.

Here we have the controllers and the game cartridge. Why Tetris you ask? I just have always really liked the game. I think it’s the simplicity of the gameplay coupled with the puzzle challenge. It’s almost like a LEGO speed build where you get tossed pieces in a specific order. Hmmm…maybe an idea for a new build contest at a convention!

I found a (clone) Super Nintendo controller in a charity shop the other day. I took it apart for a bit of a clean-up.
When I bought this controller some advice I received was, "don't connect anything until you have read the manual."
The TurboPad is another controller that’s inspired by the NES. At least this controller realizes the value in having a Start and Select button (Although Start is called “Run” here.). It also has built in turbo switches for the primary buttons.

This project was made on a rainy weekend, I was showing Trackmania to my 5 years old son and he was struggling with the keys and so I had the idea of hacking an old remote control of a broken toy.
Hooked an Arduino Leonardo and binded the steering wheel and throttle stick signals and assigned key strokes for TrackMania.
Loads of fun of course!! :D
