Contrails are condensation trails (sometimes vapour trails): artificial clouds made by the exhaust of jet aircraft or wingtip vortices which precipitate a stream of tiny ice crystals in moist, frigid upper air. They are the cloud-like trails of water vapour that can be seen in the wake of airplanes, either from their exhaust or sometimes from their wing tips.
This was a very funny day with the sky being absolutely full on contrails. There must have been very little wind at the upper levels. The is the same patch of sky as the last two pictures, but taken from a different place, hence there is some hillside in front of it.

This was one of the beautiful evening skies during my visit to New Mexico. What do you see up there?

OMG d00dz, the one world government is totally spraying mind control chemicals all over the place and the sasquatches from the hollow earth and the Nazi moon base and I don't give a shit about your conspiracy theory, okay? I just thought it looked neat when I was standing at the bus stop this morning.
