Continuing our Second Day on the Parkway - leaving the Linn Cove Viaduct area and headed home via Mt. Mitchell, Mt. Pisgah, Asheville and off the Parkwa at Sylva NC.
This series of photos brings us through several more tunnels and past several beautiful overlooks complete with all kinds of wildflowers, butterflies and other flora. The Joe Pye Weed was blooming EVERYWHERE and the butterflies LOVE it!!
We had planned to eat at the restaurant at Mt. Pisgah, but a snack at Crabtree Meadows left all three of us "not-so-hungry" when we got there, so we continued on to Sylva. We had thought we might eat at Shoney's in Franklin, but decided to see if we could find a restaurant that Southern Living rates very highly - - - Lulu's on Main - - - so we started looking around in Dillsboro and then Sylva.
All I can say about Lulu's on Main is "WHAT a FIND that is!!!" We loved it!!!
