Continuing with the birds of La Cienegulla. I really had no idea of how many there were before I started posting these.
Looking seaward under Teignmouth pier. When we were kids we used to search under here for coins dropped through the floorboards by the slot machine players.
This is the last year I'll be at the CNE for a while - I'll be out of the country for next year's and things after that are still undecided. I've been taking a photo of the city from the CNE ferris wheel for a number of years. I can't find all of the photos anymore (I'm certain I have more) but I'll add a comment below with a few of them. They moved the ferris wheel this year so the angles aren't all the same, and all the images below from before 2007 where scanned from prints so the quality varies!

This photo represents the idea that it is easy for anyone to become immersed in their own little world, ceasing their attention on whats going on around them. When you're not watching, life will just continue around you and you'll always miss things. Sometimes people need to retreat to their own little worlds when the real world becomes too much for them. They shouldn't stay there for too long though, they need to come back because who knows what they'll miss out on.

USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) is currently off the coast of Guyana in support of Continuing Promise 2010 humanitarian civic assistance (HCA) mission. The assigned medical and engineering staff embarked onboard Flagship Iwo Jima will work with partner nation's teams to provide medical, dental, veterinary, engineering assistance to several different nations to improve mutual understanding of current medical issues and technology.

The omnipresent chatter of helicopter blades has been present for a couple of weeks now. Leicestershire Police are searching for a 2 year child that fell into a Leicester river on February 18th. Note the side door is open to allow spotters to get a better view.

Continue decorative pole lighting Angier to Windsor Road. Expand northside sidewalks with brick and possibly trees to accommodate more dining, arts, and slow down traffic.
It seemed funny at the time that the sign says "Welcome Continuing Education" and they couldn't even get the letters straight.

Women gathered to protest against the current spate of incidents of violence against women and children in Sri Lanka. The protest was organised by Women for Women. The protest was held at Lipton Circus on 20th July 2012. Women demanded the authorities to take immediate action and bring the perpetrators to justice, rather than making inappropriate comments!

A 35mm film that consists solely of black transparent surfaces runs over 150 guide rollers and thus produces a "wall of film" completely without projection. Wim Janssen's (BE) work thus evokes elements from three generations of visual media: the materiality of film, the emptiness of the video signal and the binary logic of the digital.

I will continue to wonder what might be found in this old barn located off State Route 676 outside of Marietta Ohio because of the thick field of vegetation that it is sitting in.
